Anambra State College of Nursing Sciences is a state-owned College of nursing that is situated in Nkpor, Idemili North, Local Government of Anambra State. It is the only state-owned college of nursing in Anambra State.
The institution is accredited by the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) and the Niger Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). The institution has a history establishment date dating back to 1982, but the institution was accredited and established according to NBTE in 2023, making that the official establishment date of the institution.
Anambra State College of Nursing Sciences was previously administered and controlled by the School of Nursing at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Nkpor, before it was fully upgraded and accredited to stand on its own.

Anambra State College of Nursing Sciences does use the JAMB cut-off mark even though the institution still conducts examinations, and it is never you who even has this cut-off mark before you even think of applying for the institution’s admission.

There is also a written examination that will be conducted by the institution after you register, and you are successful students are mandated to write this examination before being given admission, so your JAMB score is not only the necessary credentials, but also you have to sit for the institution examination and pass it.
