Abia State College of Health Technology, upgraded to Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, is a state-owned college that is situated in Aba, Abia State. The institution is the oldest established college of health technology in Nigeria.
Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology was established in 1948 by the British. During the colonial administration of Nigeria, as a time of its establishment, it was established as a School of Health Technology and also known as the School of Health among students and Indigenes alike.
The institution obtained an upgrade and was formally known as College in 1976 following accreditation by the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE). In 2009 the institution was renamed to its current name to reflect the academic scope and widen exposure.

Admission Requirements
° Candidate Must Have Five (5) O’Level credit passes in GCE, WAEC (SSCE), NECO, or equivalent.
