Maurid College of Nursing Sciences is a private-owned college of nursing that is situated in Mbiaso, Nsit Ibom, and Akwa Ibom. The institution is one of the notable colleges of nursing across Nigeria and in the South South Region of the country.
Maurid College of Nursing Sciences is the first private college of nursing sciences to be established in Akwa-Ibom and the whole south-south region of Nigeria because it is fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Maurid College of Nursing Sciences was formally established in 2024 by Dr. Godwin Uwontuen, who is the founder of Maurid Polytechnic. The Mbiaso Campus of the college is regarded as one of the best across the country, and the institution received a donation of a classroom from Rep. Uyime Odam.

Maurid College of Nursing Sciences Cut-off Mark for All Courses
The college has pegged its cut-off mark at 150 for any course in the institution, and that means for you to apply for any course in the institution, you must score at least 150 and above, but it is recommended that students score above 150 to be able to secure admission into this college.
Aside from the required cutoff mark, the institution also conducts its own examination, which is in the form of an aptitude test. This will be a computer-based test examination.
